Obviously A. D. Berry was not the only company we contacted for our needs. However, they were by far the most professional and helpful of 3 other companies. The expertise and knowledge of the salesman was above and beyond all the others. Receiving choices of performance and price was very helpful knowing we had options and exactly what we would be getting. This was the only company to actually calculate loads ie number of windows, doors, insulation values, ect. An excellent way to impress n old, disabled, engineer with lots of numbers on worksheets. It was a difficult install with a lot of metal work required. It was dark by the time they finished up, but it was all done and clean in one day. As a matter of fact, one of them swept my entire basement outside the HVAC utility area from a project I was working on. The warranty information I was aware of from all the brochures that were sent to me with the estimates. We did not discuss them in person as I had the information already available.

Integrity is the word that comes to mind when asked about A.D. Berry. Austin and his team worked with us on the best route to add new heating and air to an addition, along with new lines to an existing space. They worked around our schedule, explaining every step of the process. We were able to get great products and still have the one on one of a local company. They really go above and beyond what is expected. We would recommend them to everyone.

We can't say enough about Austin and his team. He spent time doing the estimate, we received our estimate in a very timely manner. Austin came out and explained everything to us about each furnace. He spend countless hours making sure we were satisfied. His office staff is amazing and Amy squeezed us in without a hesitation. I can't thank him and his team for the hard work, dedication and prompt service. If anything was going to change he would give us a call and let us know. I couldn't choose anyone else to do our heating and cooling.

So pleased with the Evolution AC unit Austin Berry recommended to us. It keeps our home so much cooler than our old unit. Austin and his crew were very prompt and professional with the installation, even covering our carpet and wearing covers on their shoes while walking in and out of our house. Austin even took the time to show us how to use our new thermostat. We were very impressed! After hours of studying and reading reviews on different brands it all comes down to finding a professional who knows his stuff. Austin did a wonderful job making sure that everything was done just right. We replaced a 30 yr old heat pump with an Evolution gas furnace and air conditioner. It was a 2day job but Austin stayed until we had heat. Most contractors would have quit when there 8hrs were in but not Austin. He is truly dedicated to his customers and loves what he does. We couldn't be happier with our choice of products but A.D. Berry made the real difference. Thanks Austin & Amy

We contacted Austin Berry about putting in a new furnace for us. The old one was about 13 years old. Austin tried to keep it running for a while, but finally we needed to make a decision to buy a new one. Each level of furnace was clearly explained to us with the cost of each system clearly apparent. All that is difficult for us to understand and he made it easy to make a decision based on his explanations. We had an estimate from another dealer and it was way out of line with Austin's estimate. It was also a Bryant dealer who did not give us the choices that Austin did. Amy came on a Saturday morning to bring us all the paper work to sign. We had some issue with putting our unit out back so he worked until he finally came up with a solution to put it on side of the house where it would not be seen so well which made us very happy. These gentlemen installed this furnace in a day and a half. Each were very respectful making sure they left everything as they found it. We were on vacation while they installed. We came back to our home without a thing out of place. Later we had some trouble understanding our unit. He stopped to explain it in great detail. We are so pleased and have told many people about his excellent service. Thanks A D Berry for your service.

We were looking for someone that would work with us through the self-remodel of our home, someone that was honest and
trustworthy and not trying to sell us products that we didn't need. The new furnace project was a big job for us and we had other estimates that seemed to add the 30% tax break onto the cost and didn't even come close to A.D. Berry's estimate.
Austin (the owner) walked us through all the options that were available and what would work best for us with the condition of our old farm house before and after the remodel. We wanted to reduce our heating bill ($400.00 per month), eliminate the bad odor of fuel oil and take advantage of the federal tax break for geothermal. We also wanted to relocate our unit in the basement to accommodate the remodel project and new duct to the attic for service to the second floor rooms.
A.D. Berry started the job and the work was completed in just a little over a week. They completed all the interior work with superior attention to detail while wiring and running all the required plumbing, everything looks great. The excavation outside for the closed ground loop was completed by them and reseeded and looks better than before they started.
They explained everything to us as they worked and took the time to ensure we understood how the system would work to our advantage. The site was always clean and safe. They came back several times to ensure there were no problems and the system was working as designed/promised. The unit they sold us has dropped our heating cost by 75% with the added comfort of air conditioning produced by the ground loop. We are very comfortable and completely satisfied with the system.
I am a local emergency responder and have seen many jobs completed by area contractors and I can always tell when I see A.D. Berry's work. I have never had any regrets with their service and professionalism. I tell all of my friends to call this company first if they need service or replacement of their HVAC. A.D. Berry is FAST, HONEST, FAIR PRICED and PROFESSIONAL.

A.D. Berry Heating & Cooling are top-notch professionals. Austin and his team installed a Bryant gas furnace and air conditioner to replace our old baseboard heaters. They had to start from scratch as there was no existing duct work. It is not unusual for Austin to work morning to night to finish a job. Everything was explained well from start to finish and we are extremely happy with our new system. We will recommend A.D. Berry to everyone!

Even though I had several dealers come to give me estimates on a new heating system none impressed me as much as Austin Berry. He measured all the rooms, windows, register openings and ductwork including crawling under my crawl space to check duct work. After doing his calculations he determined my old system was oversized and had inadequate return air causing my system to fail prematurely. He presented me with options and let me choose without any high pressure sale pitch. I chose the Bryant Evolution System. The heat pump has a variable speed compressor with an auxiliary electric furnace, also with a variable speed fan motor, all controlled by a connex high tech thermostat allowing it to to be more efficient and heat to lower temperatures. The lowest temp so far has been 14º and my heat pump was providing warm air without the assistance of auxiliary heat. When I checked the thermostat it showed my heat pump compressor was only operating at 66%. Oh! His installation work is very professional. He is very neat and precise. I was very impressed with his work and highly recommend A.D. Berry Heating and Cooling.

A.D. Berry were wonderful to work with. They are prompt, professional and trustworthy. The business had multiple jobs to work on at the time our air conditioning was installed- the owner installed our unit by himself that day. He came early in the morning and he stayed until later in the evening. Even though he had a long day, he didn't rush through telling us about everything he did and where everything was. He went over the control panel in detail and answered all of our questions. If we ever need anything in the future, we will be working with A.D. Berry. We HIGHLY recommend their services and we love our air conditioner!

A.D. Berry has been doing all my heating and cooling needs for over 12 years. There is no one, in my opinion, who is more qualified to do this type of work. Not only does he service all my rental properties, he has done installs for me as well and will be doing another real soon!
A few years ago our heat pump stopped working in the middle of June. I left Austin a message and he called me back. He and his family were on vacation (well deserved considering all the hours he puts in!). I wasn't sure whom I could trust so we just put fans in the windows and toughed it out till he was back! I was impressed that he would take the time to call me, when he was on a family vacation, even though he did not have to!
I would highly recommend, and have on many occasion, A.D. Berry Heating & Cooling and his team of professionals to fix any heating and/or cooling problem you may have!!

We purchased a Bryant gas furnace on January 10, 2014. To date we are very happy with the unit! We had an ancient fuel oil furnace, but we mainly burned wood the last couple years. Austin and his employees removed the old furnace and the old fuel tank which was a nasty dirty job. They stayed late to complete the job in one day and we were not charged a penny more then what we were quoted before the start of the job. Austin and his employees were very friendly and personable. We would recommend them to you!!

We contacted Austin in March of 2013 due to word of mouth referrals. We had electric baseboard heating and a central air unit. Both were inefficient. Austin installed a heat pump system. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter with such efficiency. The programmable thermostat is great-after he gave me a lesson on how to use it! We love our new system and strongly recommend A.D. Berry for quality installation, quality service, and a quality product!

On a Saturday morning in November, I discovered a water leak coming from my old oil fired boiler. I shut off the water supply and called A.D. Berry and left a message. Before noon I received a call back. Because this was the peak of the start-up heating season, Austin was unable to schedule a service call until Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM.
Austin pulled into my drive way at exactly 8:00 on Tuesday as scheduled. It didn't take long to discover the water leak was serious. It appeared the furnace was installed in 1957, so any repair would just be temporary until another leak developed. So a new unit was the best solution. He followed up with an estimate that I determined to be fair. I knew I was not only purchasing a new unit but I also was hiring Austin to do a quality installation. And he did, taking extra care and time to re-plumb the new unit and correct earlier "convenience plumbing". We are very satisfied with his work and attention to detail. Because Austin is in demand and very busy we had to wait our turn but worth every penny.

I contacted Austin at A.D. Berry Heating & Cooling about mid. May, 2013. One of our two central A.C. units had gone bad and the other wasn't working correctly. Austin was here to check both systems with-in 24 hrs. One day later he stopped by with recommendations and estimates for all costs. About a week after, I was back in business with one completely new system and the older unit working perfectly. With Austin's help choosing a new system and set-back thermostats for both systems, everything is working great. I highly recommend A.D.Berry, their professionalism, dependability and workmanship are all first rate. I trust these folks.

Austin kept our old (1976 vintage) fuel oil furnace and AC system working for years. This year he installed a new electric furnace, heat pump, AC & humidifier system for us. It works great and we are very pleased! We no longer have any temperature fluctuation or static shocks as was common with our old system. As an added bonus, the cost to run our new system is much lower. We highly recommend Austin because he provides great work and service at a fair price.

I have nothing but praise for the excellent service I received from A.D. Berry Heating. On a cold November day my 23-year-old furnace died and I made a frantic call to Amy and Austin. Austin arrived that afternoon to look over the situation, gave me an estimate the next day as he said he would, then installed my new furnace over the weekend because he was booked every week day. He and his assistant left all work areas extremely neat. In the days that followed both Amy and Austin have patiently answered my questions about my new electric furnace, heat pump and programmable thermostat. They have earned my thanks and trust.
